McAllen, Texas
Sunday (August 8th) was a very full and busy day. My wife Anne and I left San Antonio at 6 am with a full cup of Starbucks coffee and headed south 3 1/2 hours to McAllen Texas. I ministered at Christian Fellowship Church in the absence of our son. Phil had gone to New Mexico to minster at CFC Albuquerque and had ask me to fill in. We had a great time of worship and I ministered about how unfulfilled expectations so often leads to disappointment. After the service we had lunch with our daughter-in-law and granddaughters then headed back to San Antonio. It was a full day but very spiritually refreshing.
