Let’s get the story straight…

I mentioned a while back on this blog or Facebook that Preacher’s Wife and I were moving across town. We described the neighborhood and immediately our children and close friends  said we were moving to a “retirement” community. I would like to set the record straight. Hill Country Retreat on the west side of San Antonio is a Del Webb community, it is not an old folks home. There may be some retired people living there but not us. This may be us one day but not today or any time soon.A Del Webb community is designed for those who want to kick back a little and simplify their lives so as to enjoy recreation within the community. It’s for active senior adults 55 years and better. At least one person has to be 55. We almost didn’t qualify but thanks to Preacher’s Wife we got in. It is a great and relaxing environment. Our house will be finished and we will close  in less than a month. I am looking forward to everything except the packing and unpacking. So we are not retiring regardless what some may think.  We are  just changing our lifestyle a little.
